Founded in Hong Kong in 2015 by Thomas Woo and Paul Grange, our team brings over 50 years of international yachting expertise. We guide both first‑time and seasoned owners with discreet, best‑in‑class sales advice and aftersales support.
With hubs on Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong and at ONE°15 Marina, Sentosa Cove, Singapore—plus exclusive Azimut partners Frank Yachts (Shenzhen) and Supreme Yachts (Taiwan)—we are ideally placed to manage every detail: specification, build oversight, importation, registration, delivery, crew, and berthing. Thomas Woo
A Hong Kong local, educated in the USA, Thomas has been in business in Hong Kong for over 35 years. Previously in the audio and automotive industries it was Thomas’s passion for yachting that moved him full time in the yacht industry 20 years ago.
Thomas and Paul met in Hong Kong in 2012 and over the next three years and successfully completed several significant Azimut Yacht sales together, so when the opportunity arose to become Azimut distributors in 2015, they partnered and founded Marine Italia Ltd.
Thomas serves as the company’s CEO and he is very focused on our client relations and maximizing our client’s enjoyment of yachting and yacht ownership through Marine Italia Ltd. Thomas has enjoyed yachting in Hong Kong for over 20 years, he is very technically minded, an experienced captain in his own rite and often works hands on with our Marinetec shipyard service team. As a very keen yachting enthusiast you will see Thomas out in Hong Kong waters enjoying his own yacht with family, friends and clients whenever possible.
Thomas’s is also passionate about the automotive world and supercars and he’s an active member in car clubs in Hong Kong, where many clients are also involved, creating a natural social crossover. Luxury lifestyle interests shape his work style and his first hand experience,
Paul Grange
Graduating from the Southampton Maritime College, UK in 1993 Paul has worked in the luxury yacht industry ever since. Working as a yacht broker, sales manager and ultimately sales director for a luxury yacht brand managing sales for a large sales group network across the Mediterranean.
In 2000 Paul founded his own yacht brokerage company culminating in a 6 office network across Europe, a business that he eventually sold after emigrating to Hong Kong with his family 12 years later.
In 2012 Paul joined Simpson Marine in Hong Kong as group sales manager for Azimut Yachts and Head of Brokerage/Superyachts for their office network across Asia.
In 2015, building on his relationship with Azimut, Paul partnered with Hong Kong local, Thomas Woo, to found Marine Italia Ltd as the exclusive Azimut Yachts distributor for Hong Kong, Macau, Guangdong – China and Taiwan and in 2018 expanded their Azimut territory to include Singapore.
Over the last decade, Marine Italia Ltd has become a successful, multi award winning and highly respected yacht dealership, and Azimut Yacht’s largest Distributor, in Asia.
With over 30 years experience managing luxury yacht dealership networks on 2 continents Paul has a genuine wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the industry and he is equally happy managing the operations of the Group and working with our amazing team as he is assisting clients or being out on the water.
